I am sad that the cancellation attempt went through, even if volunteering to spare the organizers the trouble honors you.
I think the way to deal with cancellation attempts is to confront and shamelessly expose them. That is what I would have loved to see EuRuKo do. The torches crew is a disease, and complying, even mildly, only makes the problem worse. Framework is a great example of what happens when you engage in good faith. There is no good on the other side, only rage, resentment, and bitterness.
