My best ideas happen in the shower 🚿 or on the… toilet 💩. Planned out some Gluon features that I think would be unique and awesome over the past few days. Can’t wait to start.

With Gluon, you can do the following:
- View your timeline, mentions and favourites.
- Reply or post to Micro.blog and also set favourites.
- Discover the discovery feed including all the “emoji” tagged discover sections.
- Search users or posts on Micro.blog.
- View user profiles and follow, or, unfollow.
- Add multiple accounts to the app, if you have more.
- Customise the app from theme, font, accent colours and more.
- And much more.

If you’re using Gluon, which I hope you are… I’ve added the #adayinthelife challenge images to the Discover More section, so you can see all the nice photos 😍
Just uploaded the latest update to the Android beta channel for Gluon (2020.5 Build 32).
Main update points for you are as following:
- Allow and display multiple sites if your account has more than one "blog" hosted on Micro.blog. That means you can easily select which blog you want to post to with a simple tap right in the post editor or selecting it in the "More" screen.
- Categories update as you select a new site, if you use the above feature.
- If you can “post” you will now see a floating post button on the main timeline screen, instead of it being in the header - now it’s certainly getting closer to the Android feel.
- Profile image is now shown in the header, so you know what you… look like. And if you’re as handsome as Dominik then that’s good! 😋 Tap to open your profile or long press to view the account screen allowing you to add more than one account and switch between them.
Now, there are a few issues that I have found whilst writing this, and I’ll get to them. Nothing too major. It’s a “beta” after all.
Next up is to add Push Notification support… and once that is tested and done… it will slowly move to public release.
Experimenting with making Gluon it a little more Android like. Post button at bottom right. Also added the profile button to the header.
Currently working on the multi-site picker for Gluon on Android.
Just a general reminder that Gluon has a mute filter! Kinda wish it synced with Micro.blog… my Twitter timeline seems to be more in check these days with a whopping 3 accounts I follow.
The new “Apple’verse” version of Gluon will ship with iOS15. 😂

Gluon version 2020.5 for iOS has been approved by Apple... so I need to go and press the button soon and release it.
Today I’m noodling around with Gluon Central, the API that I’m using for… Gluon. Could you possibly guess what it might be?
Added a few words of caution when you go ahead and enable notifications in Gluon. Want to of course re-write it slightly, so if you have suggestions, please let me know:
Push notifications will be sent, silently (with no sound), as and when a mention is received. This may take up your time during your nice day so please use responsibly.

Found a few more bugs in Gluon to do with category selection and a few other tweaks that I can add. Will get those out today at some stage. Thanks fo bearing with me with all the HOTNESS. 🤤
Oh and build 20 for Gluon 2020.5 will be out shortly via TestFlight… as there is a crashing bug with the discover section = lazy developer 😭
