For anyone leaving feedback via TestFlight, for Gluon, just note that I don't often read them because Apple gives me no nice way to interact with you (nor tell me that I got feedback). Email the support@ address instead.

Just uploading a new TestFlight build for Gluon which adds a "Reply All" button when you're replying. It's fairly straight forward on how it works.

It'll add the usernames of anyone participating in the conversation, if not already in the reply text.

Working on something new on Micro.blog and I wanted to take this opportunity to try out import maps and JS modules, because I want to avoid using any build tools. So far so good!

We're starting something new today. Can't wait to show you... next year when it's done. Also... I can't draw stars for the life of me.

I'm going to slow down with Gluon development until after the holidays, however it would be awesome if I can have a few more testers for iOS. Here is the link for TestFlight. More details on how the betas run is here. Hoping to remain slow though.

Funny story, the code I wrote for the new style push notifications (to get the mentions and get them all nice) in Gluon is 2 years old now. Just never got around to it. Although it only used an email notification on a mention (hint!) instead of push.

There was an issue with replies coming from Fediverse users (via Micro.blog), and the content was empty instead of the message. So I fixed that now (I hope) ✌️

Howdy. I am going to start some new push notification magic for Gluon on this thread. So please ignore. Probably start in 20 - 30 mins. Just a little heads up 😋

So Gluon feature request time, to the developer working on it:

• Timeline sync
• Re-arrangeable tab bar icons (so you can have different screens, to your preference)

Just pushed out a little update to Status++. This one re-enables the ability to get push notifications. I was working on the web app last night to make that happen 😋 Plus some other goodies in this release, which you can find in the test notes. More soon.

Restarted an old project of mine... took a bit of time to get going again, but happy it's back.

For Gluon, I'll be tidying up the profile pages a little and might just sync up the timeline filter with the options set on Micro.blog - although I think that's a bad idea for now (because ideally I need to tidy up feed fetching). Then leave it at that.

I'm fighting old code that I rewrote 100% for the official Micro.blog apps...

Adding profile pinning to Gluon in the next beta. Basically you can pin any profile you want to keep track of in a dedicated section, without having to, for example, follow them. Here is a quick video:

Here's a quick demo of pinned topics (in general) and also the combined view. It's super fast as Gluon fetches the feeds remotely and caches them.

Approaching 4AM... woohoo! Love it. Updated Gluon iOS beta incoming... soon/today (Sunday).

Whilst I waited for the bread to bake... I super charged the Discover feeds in Gluon 😬 Also it's now possible to have a combined feed for any pinned topics you might have. Hope to have that all ready for the next beta.
