New tinylytics milestone today. Just approaching 10,000 tracked hits across all sites. And the homepage was viewed 1,000 times. Tracking over 100 websites.

This really has exceeded any of my expectations.

I’ll be putting in more work within the next few weeks ✌️❀️

If you're already using tinylytics, I've added the ability to make your stat pages public. Just click on the lock icon on your site, then click on the "Public" text to navigate to it.

It'll create a unique code. When you disable it, that code is also deleted.

Here is tinylytics'!

tinylytics is now tracking 100 sites 🤯😘 Super cool. Good end of a long day!

My preliminary plan for a paid tier for tinylytics is as following:

  • 100,000 page hits/events per month
  • 12 month data retention
  • add "kudos" to articles (like adding a high five/clap)
  • track events, like clicking specific links
  • digest emails

$5/month and going up slightly per 100 subscribers.

I'm thinking of the following as the free tier for tinylytics:

  • 1,000 page hits/API calls/per month, across all sites
  • 90 days (3 months) data retention
  • Unlimited sites

I'm working on "perks" for extra free usage (more hits & calls), for select third party services.

πŸ‘€ Don't wanna say too much yet (as there is some discussion about this), but omg.lol domain names (including weblog.lol ones) will be exempt from counting towards page hits when I figure out pricing for tinylytics. Of course there will be a free tier also ✌️

Approaching 100 tracked sites on Tinylytics... I mean this is just mind blowing 🤯

Alrighty, thanks again so very much for the past 24 hours to everyone registering for Tinylytics! I'm buzzing ❀️

Tomorrow I'll work on some simple documentation. Then I'll take a small break for a few days (will fix bugs).

Send me your feedback if things look wrong. Still much to do.

And talking about that hit counter, you can style it as you want! Tinylytics will only bring back your number. So you can make it all fancy.

Anyway, just a bit of fun.

✌️❀️

I've been making a few changes to Tinylytics and a dedicated update blog and documentation is coming soon. However, just added something fun...

You can add: "?show_hits" to your embed code, and then anywhere on your site add an element with a class of "tinylytics_hits" and you'll get a hit counter!
